Otto Hollaus Scholarship Fund

The Otto Hollaus Scholarship Fund was created to provide financial assistance to Otto Hollaus Snowsports Academy students and families experiencing financial challenges. The scholarship funds may be applied to cover the cost of lesson registration, bus transportation, equipment lease and lift tickets. The fund was started in 2013 by Aden Danks, a student in the ski school program.

As a Community Service project for his 7th grade Honors English Class, Aden suggested the idea of the scholarship fund and donated the seed money raised through his fundraising efforts and his own personal contribution. Aden’s goal is to continue to grow the Otto Hollaus Scholarship Fund to make sure that Otto Hollaus students have the opportunity to experience skiing and snowboarding, regardless of financial circumstances.

Those seeking financial assistance are encouraged to contact the ski and ride school. Those who can, are encouraged to donate to the scholarship fund, to spread the love of the sport.
